From the Editor…….

A new year………and we are full of hope. Concluding our Advent and Christmas celebration here at church
and the holiday “days off,” we return to school and to work and resume our everyday routines.
We are basking in the warm glow of family and friends. Our hearts are warmed from the traditions that we treasure. Our candlelight Christmas Eve Service in scripture and song is one we all enjoy.

Quilt Show 2015

Special thanks to the Knoxville Chapter of Quilts of Valor for the special display of their quilts at our church during the Knox County Scenic Drive again this year. While we know and appreciate the work that the group does throughout the year in service and recognition of members of the armed forces, seeing the quilts displayed is a very tangible and moving reminder.

Stone Soup 2015

Our Stone Soup Fundraiser for 2015 has concluded. This was another wonderful example of our church members and friends all working together.
Thanks to our team of leaders and volunteers - from the prep team through the serving and clean up crew.

We enjoy being a part of the Knox County Scenic Drive in the Knoxville Community. Serving Stone Soup provides an opportunity to showcase our historic church building, to welcome visitors, and to raise some money in support of the mission work of the Presbyterian Church, U.S.A.

Quilting group with a mission

Knoxville's chapter of the Quilts of Valor ministry meets weekly on Tuesdays in the dining room area of the church, throughout the day, to work on ongoing quilts supplied to wounded armed services members

Volunteers of all levels of experience are welcome. No sewing or quilting experience is required, just a desire to participate in this service project.
