Stone Soup October 3 & 10

Stone Soup has become a tradition of our church during the annual Scenic Drive Fall Festival. By participating in this regional event we show our support for our community, we showcase our historic church building, we build community within our congregation by working together, and we raise some money in support of Presbyterian Mission projects. The Saturday activities have expanded to include a quilt show and additional hours for the Economy Corner resale ship.

We are often asked about our recipe for the soup.

Jill Gibbs

Our beloved church member, Jill Gibbs passed from her earthly life on May 10, 2015.

A former student, Beth Lacy Clark, created an interview video in 2012 where Jill shared her passion about God, her teaching career, and her life experiences.

Jill was a person who have a special way of making others feel truly special: her family, her friends, her students.
