Stone Soup
We served Stone Soup again this year on Saturdays during the Knox County Scenic Drive Fall Festival, the first two full weekends in October.
Thanks to our volunteers and our wonderful patrons nearly $1600 was raised in 2011. One half of the funds will go to support the mission projects of the PCUSA and the remaining half will be added to our organ restoration fund.

Ring Praise Music Ministry Concert
It was great to host this concert. Check out photos of our July 25, 2011 event at www.RingPraiseMinistry.org
November is Tithing Month
The traditional of our congregation is to ask our members to try and meet the personal challenge of tithing, to give ten percent.
In setting this challenge, our session designates 10% of the congregational receipts for the month of November to be given away to an extra budget mission project.
Our members have many stories to share about their personal experiences and spiritual growth which have evolved through this annual project.
Fall Schedule Resumes

January 2012
Grace and Peace to you,
2011 has come and gone, and we look forward to 2012 with hope. As this New Year begins, many of us will think about making New Years resolutions; unfortunately too often we make them, but in a very short period of time we have already broken them. I read that out of 10 people who make New Year’s resolutions, eight won’t keep them for more than a month.
